Interior and the general vibe of this place is fantastic. The food is good but not incredible. I had the paprika chicken (very filling) and started with some hummus and bread which was very tasty. Great selection of home made ice teas also that you shouldn't go past.
We loved coming to Hadik and we had a wonderful server who was so eager for us to try some of her favorite Hungarian food. We tried so many great dished and I loved having the opportunity to chat with her a bit about why she liked these dishes, and she was so welcoming to us. We were excited the recommendation of the restaurant by a friend was met with the same enthusiasm from us after leaving. It was a great addition to our trip to Budapest..
A great restaurant with rich history (writers’ and journalists’ hangout) and interesting and delicious food. We ordered nice and warm goulash soup, duck with cherry sauce, deep fried chicken on mashed potato, and an extraordinary raspberry mousse with many layers of flavours and textures.
We found this restaurant by chance. A good surprise. We ate very well. We ordered salmon and duck. The service is very friendly and they speak English perfectly. The restaurant is very nice inside. Higly recommended. I will repeat when I return.
A very interesting place to eat or just take a coffee in a quiet and artistic atmosphere. We took the salmon and the duck. They talk english. Waiters are very kind. The place is worth to visit and take a look in all pantings and the different stuff around. Meal portions are not big so I recommend to not go there if you are hungry..
