Mandilla Köveskál

A marvelous little gem in a quiet beautiful place. Impressions of Tuscany all around, from the garden through the rooms to the restaurant. Which happens to be first class, in multiple ways: great food, great plating and excellent service. In fact, exceptional service knowing all there is to know about the dishes and wine selection. Strongly recommended, both for a stay and restaurant services.

I don’t leave a lot of restaurant reviews but this place deserves it. The food and service are excellent. The chef shows a real passion for cooking.. quality ingredients prepared creatively and perfectly. A dish a simple as prosciutto e melone is prepared in a unique way that is both tasty and interesting. The meats and pastas.. most of which we tried over two visits.. are all great. And definitely save room for dessert, as it’s also excellent. The service is kind, informative, and even entertaining. W ate happy o have found Mandilla, we will definitely make it a regular stop when visiting Balaton.

Nice new spot in the center of the village. We had lunch at the terrace since it was dog friendly. Nice selection of local wine and the food was good.

A well-deserved 5 stars. Quality shines through the whole place and the entire experience. Food is great, service is friendly, the whole setting is magical. We loved Mandilla and we will come back!
