About the Restaurant

Very friendly and funny staff! The atmosphere is amazing and makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely worth every penny—delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back!

We came here for dinner. Getting a table was easy, even though the website mentions that reservations are highly recommended. The place is beautiful, with a fantastic sunset view outside and a cozy ambiance inside. The food is truly the best in Tihany.

Excellent. The terrace outside is lovely to enjoy in summer, while in winter that wine cellar delivers a stunning experience. On top of is food delivered from their kitchen that easily rivals some of the best restaurants around. The Tafelspitz was a fine choice, I can much recommend this for anyone visiting this area. Very rich in taste, with a huge piece of bone marrow and sides (vegetables). I’ve also had the chef offer of a Strudel with meat, equally great. The wines were a perfect addition, and service was very nice too.

The place is wonderful. Inside is cool even in hot summer days. There is a great, calm atmosphere created with warm lighting and decorations. The food was delicious, as was the local wine. I especially recommend the duck (it was just perfect) and their lemonades (they were ridiculously good). The food, besides being delicious, was also very beautifully plated, which added so much to the wonderful experience we had here. The service was great, very friendly and welcoming. We were also given free, welcoming desserts (macaroons with goat cheese, truly delicious). The quality of the food is great, especially for the price. We would definitely go back there if given the chance.

We had a wonderful lunch in an enchanted setting with great and attentive service. Loved the food! Enjoyed a very creative plating and combination of flavors. Everything is delicious and very filling. Complementary macaroons were an unexpected and delightful addition to our experience. Thank you to people who made it possible! To those reading this review - this is a must visit place, go and you will be glad.
