The MAGIC Budapest

1st time in budapest and decided to come for a birthday meal. Food was lovely and cocktails were very nice and strong well worth it. Alex is amazing and always has a smile and good manners he was very attentive and there is a very relaxed great atmosphere. Would definitely come again

Beyond the Harry Potter magic, a rare quality! ​We had lunch at The Magic and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. People often review themed places only for the decor or the food, frequently forgetting the staff. I want to start exactly from there, praising the staff for their extraordinary kindness, courtesy, and professionalism. We felt truly welcomed and looked after with a level of care that is hard to find in such popular spots. ​That being said, even if this weren't a Harry Potter-themed restaurant, it would still be worth visiting for the quality and quantity of the food. We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent ingredients and the generous portions: it’s rare to find such a perfect balance between a 'spectacular setting' and real substance on the plate. ​The magical atmosphere is detailed to perfection and charms both adults and children, but it is the combination of great food and excellent service that makes this a must-visit in Budapest. Highly recommended for those looking for a complete experience and not just a souvenir photo!"

Absolutely love this place! I got a butterbeer (with the rum in) and the unicorn delicacy. The food was so nice, really tasty. The service was brilliant too. Brought us some witches hats out, brought a cauldron over to the table and made it bubble to add some magical atmosphere to our table. Thank you Gábor for the fabulous service!

his was honestly one of the highlights of our time in Budapest. From the moment we walked in, the Harry Potter theme was brought to life so well. The interior is absolutely gorgeous, with beautifully designed décor and an impressive level of attention to detail everywhere you look, there’s something magical to notice. The menu itself deserves a special mention, as it was incredibly well thought out and fully in theme, which made the whole experience feel immersive rather than gimmicky. The staff were fantastic throughout our visit. They were extremely attentive and, interacting with guests in a fun and engaging way that really added to the atmosphere. The food was amazing and exceeded expectations, both in quality and presentation. Everything we tried was delicious, and it didn’t feel like the theme came at the expense of good food, quite the opposite. The absolute highlight, though, was when our waiter came over and asked me to say my favourite spell. After I did, the cauldron on the table suddenly overflowed with smoke, which was such a magical and unforgettable moment. It really felt like something straight out of the Harry Potter world and made the visit truly memorable. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for any Harry Potter fan. The combination of incredible theming, attentive and interactive staff, great food, and thoughtful details made it a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. Although definitely make a reservation as wait times are long and there is a mandatory 15% service fee.
